That's how I begin every project. Why? Because whatever your message, whatever your medium, you have only a few moments to grab your audience’s attention… then maybe a few more to convince them to keep reading, or listening, or watching.
Engage then inform, always in that order. Is it easy? Nope. My laptop is filled with discarded ideas, early drafts, and almost-but-not-quite phrasings. If you need something – almost anything – written shorter/clearer/lighter/better, let’s talk.
